It therefore makes it possible to obtain excellent windows that provide perimeter thermal insulation of the glass that is very similar to that of the frame, reducing the U heat transmission of the window by about 10%, and eliminating the possible temporary appearance of condensation on the perimeter of the pane almost entirely, thus making it possible to tolerate a higher percentage of air humidity in inhabited rooms. Therm-Tec: this is a special reinforcement, tested by the IFT Rosenheim institute, in which two steel profiles are linked together with polyurethane. The thermal insulation that is achieved by the thermal cutoff of the reinforcement is considered “excellent”, considerably lowering the UW value of the window. |
